Al Bairre (pronounced Al Bear) is an indie band from Hout Bay in Cape Town, South Africa, known for their energetic sound and playful approach to music. Formed in 2012, the four-piece group (Tessa, Julia, Kyle, and Nic) quickly gained national attention with their distinctive style and presence.

In 2014, the band won two MK Awards for Best Newcomer and Best Music Video. Their 2015 debut album, Experience the Al Bairre Show with Al Bairre Experience, featured the widely recognised single “Let’s Fall in Love Some More.”

Al Bairre has performed internationally, with shows across the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK. Their collaboration with Cape Town group PH Fat on “Caviar Dreams” earned a South African Music Award nomination for Best Video, and they were selected as one of only two African acts among the 12 finalists for the Midem Artist Accelerator programme in France.
